Be Still | August 29th, 2019

At this moment, I am sitting on a foldable table at the Student Commons of my University. I am here promoting my fraternity with 4 other brothers. Yeah,

I found myself this morning scattered.

I kept starting on a new task in the middle of a task, I tried to control my focus but it kept bouncing,

like a bouncy ball. The more I tried to catch it, the more it bounced,

like I was smacking it with each miscatch.

So, it’s time to try another method:

giving my mind permission to bounce and just observe it.

Let it bounce until it is still.

And once it is still,

pick up the ball, and throw it at the direction I desire.

Yeah, it’s working now.

With Love and Sincerity,

Jose Michael Rubio
