An Hour and a Minute Ago, Blog

At the moment, I am writing at Chloe’s apartment in Washington D.C. It’s 1:31pm.

Boy, I must tell you something,

(lol)

I tanked the interview I had today, an hour and a minute ago.

It was with this company called Raymond James. I was super prepared for it, until the interview happened. Then I realized, as I was trying to not talk out of my ass, how unprepared I was.

But this is good, this was exactly what I needed.

I am not ready, and that is okay. It’s okay to not be ready, so I’m not beating myself up for it. This means that there is still more work to do, and that I KNOW that there is still work to do, and what that work entails

and the direction I need to go.

Let’s set those sails high and decisively, great vision of mine,

because now I know where I must go

to be who I was destined to be:

the best me I could ever be.

With love and sincerity,

Jose Michael Rubio

Sometimes it’s nicer to know that we’re NOT ready for something vs knowing we are lol. There’s greater opportunity for growth 🙂
