A Quarantine Poem for the Hesitated & Restrained

I pulled an all nighter for my first homework assignment (lol)

Why (you may ask)?

Easy answer is COVID-19, the excuse of 2020.

The real answer is… several.

*doesn’t know what to type, the several keeps shifting ambiguously*

^ this. Hesitation. The extinguisher of Spirits, the silencer of souls.

I’ll end here.

With love and sincerity,

Jose Michael Rubio

P.S. The cure is solitude, around nature (you must!).

Listen to your hesitation; watch it. Then listen to insects. The wind if it’s free (and it always is). Feel the bodily pain, where is it coming from?

Where are you? Here,

always here.

And never there.
